GREAT Scooter for getting around town, to work, or just ’round the “Lynne” for a pint of stout….ALL ELECTRIC, charges in about 2 and a half hours, and you can go 30 miles. Up the hill…down the hill…over the Glen and around the bend. ENGLAND/AMERICA..Baja Motorsports. Watch this BRILL ride on the BE-500.

@azkaban777 hey i need some new battries but can you tell me where i could buy some at and how much do i need?
Yes, if you simply PULL the plug under the left knuckle guard, that will disable the speed retarder. I had Batt. problems..they had to ship me 5 sets..(Two per set!) before It was right. I ended up with 5 EXTRA batts. but at least they did not charge me. I sold the bike here in L.A for $500. It was a FUN ride, and I DID put over 600 miles on it. While it was GREAT in Portland, not so great here in L.A.
I had one but the motor kept cutting out. Canadian Tire could not fix it, BAJA were real jerks, so the owner of the store where I got it refunbded the electric BAJA bike- I doub t if you will ever see this product in my area again. Even Wallmart Atholville wont come near Electric bikes too bad
When I’m riding my BE500 I put the throttle down for more then a few seconds it slows/stops and then i have to wait for the gauge to go back to the H…. First day i have it atm, and i put the charger on just to see how she’d work if i recharged it… BTW how long should i charge it, whats the battery life like (like how much distance (km) can i go/should i go before each recharge)? would you recommend charging each battery individually, or just through the bike? should the inner switch be off?
@MrDietzkroll $800 was a GREAT deal! I recently sold mine for $500 (The one in the video) but sadly, sold it to an idiot. It’s great fun to ride and you got a GREAT deal at $800!
@CecilienC You don’t have to “CUT” any wire’s and I would not suggest anyone do that when there is a small MICRO plug right there. Simply “Un-Plug” it…it’s that simple. No cutting wires. That way you can “Circulate On Cyclable Way”. (Never heard it quite put that way, but works for me
The speed limit of this scooter is about 32 Km/h and is considered as an assisted bycicle. I don’t suggest to remoove pedal because it may be necessary when you have to climb a hill. It is possible to speed up to 40 km/h by cutting a grey wire to the left handle of this scooter but by doing this, your vehicle is not considered like an assisted bycicle an may need immatriculation plate plus insurance and you can’t circulate on cyclable way.
I have one of these. I paid $800.00 brand new. I can hit 40 – 45 kmh. It’s fun but no good with hard wind. The mirrors on the side are a pain in the ass so I removed them. Pedaling the thing too is no good as well. I left the pedals off. I rode it in the rain and it still works aw well. I like it and I said I’d never ride one. I can’t stop laughing because I was told I’d never drive on the road again.
