Only time will tell for now. I’ve been using my Yamaha Zuma for a few months now and the battery’s holding up okay. Only time will tell and It’ll be best to get a battery conditioner to keep it charged all the time to prevent crystallization.

The cap that is supposed to fit snugly into the socket does not fit at all. I cannot put it in the socket. I pushed with all my might and it almost fits, but does not. And that was without it mounted. If it was mounted, there is not way I could use that much force to try to make the cap fit on, so this is not weatherproof at all as their ad says. If you get this product you won't be able to put the cap into the socket. The inside groove of the cover is too large. I wrote to the company to explain my problem and ask if they could send a new cap, perhaps one that fits, and they won't even answer my email.
